Night fell.
Inside the upgraded and renovated hot spring chamber, mist swirled in thick, lazy ribbons. The walls, paved with warm jade, emitted a soft, hazy glow.
Zhang Xian had been soaking in the warm spirit spring for some time. He leaned against the pool wall, eyes closed, resting his mind. He wore only a pair of loose shorts, baring a chest defined by smooth, powerful muscle.
Creak—
The door was gently pushed open.
Zhang Xian opened his eyes. His gaze locked onto the figure in the doorway instantly.
Li Fuxi walked in.
She wasn’t wearing her usual attire—the cold, simple, and austere Daoist robes of the Yunmiao Sect’s Head Seat. Instead, she had changed into a white Spirit Treasure long dress.
This dress was one of the gifts Zhang Xian had given her previously. It was a Middle-Grade Spirit Treasure, something she had never refined or worn before. Yet tonight, in an unprecedented move, she had put it on.
The fabric was as light and thin as a cloud, flowing with a faint, ethereal spiritual light. The cut was perfectly tailored, clinging to her silhouette and outlining her delicate, well-proportioned curves. A silk ribbon of the same snowy hue cinched her slender waist, making the fullness of her chest appear even more proud and upright. Amidst the swirling mist, her figure was faintly discernible—a breathtaking, heart-stopping sight.
The hem of the skirt reached her ankles, swaying gently like flowing clouds with every step, revealing glimpses of her exquisite, porcelain-white feet.
Li Fuxi’s cheeks were flushed. Her eyes darted away, daring not to meet Zhang Xian’s burning gaze directly. Forcing herself to remain calm, she walked to the poolside. Seeing Zhang Xian’s bold, unrestrained posture, her heartbeat accelerated into a frantic rhythm.
This time, she didn’t use the Water Mirror Technique to block his view as she usually did. She merely enveloped herself in a faint Water Mist Art, a token effort that barely concealed her figure.
She touched the water’s surface lightly with her toes, then slid gracefully into the warm spring, stirring a circle of ripples.
The warm water enveloped her body, yet it couldn’t dispel the tension knotting her chest. She could clearly hear her own heart pounding like a war drum.
“Master… let’s begin.”
“Mn.”
Li Fuxi took several deep breaths, trying desperately to calm her chaotic emotions. She extended her slender, jade-like fingers and began to manipulate her pure Water Spiritual Energy.
Threads of warm, moist water flowed out like dexterous fingers. They wound around Zhang Xian’s shoulders, neck, arms, and spine, pressing and kneading his meridians with a gentle, rhythmic pulse.
“Mmm…”
Zhang Xian couldn’t help but let out a satisfied sigh, completely relaxing under his Master’s skillful hands.
Time seemed to blur. After what felt like an eternity, the meticulous massage ended.
Li Fuxi felt her face burning. Her consumption of Spiritual Energy wasn’t great, but her mind was utterly exhausted from the tension.
She panted slightly, her voice carrying a barely noticeable tremor. “It’s… it’s over, Zhang Xian. I… I’ll go out first.”
As she spoke, she made to rise from the water.
Zhang Xian chuckled inwardly.
The little white rabbit has hopped right into the wolf’s den, and she thinks she can just run away?
His mind stirred. The power of the Water Spirit Root within his body quietly circulated.
“Ah!”
Li Fuxi suddenly felt a tightness around her waist. A warm current of water had wound itself around her. Immediately after, her arms and calves were seized by several more currents—gentle, yet carrying an irresistible force.
“You… what are you doing?” Li Fuxi was both startled and shy, her voice jumping an octave.
“Naturally, I am returning the favor, Master.”
Zhang Xian’s voice carried a lazy smile as he slowly stood up from the water, droplets sliding down his muscular chest.
“Didn’t you say this is the innate talent of us Water Spirit Root cultivators? The Spirit Spring has spirituality; it automatically massages the meridians. Well, your disciple has suddenly sensed this spirituality too.”
“Nonsense! Let me go, quickly!”
Li Fuxi, flushed with a mix of embarrassment and annoyance, struggled with all her might. To her shock, she found the water currents exceptionally tenacious. She couldn’t break free.
In that moment, Zhang Xian stepped out of the water, closing the distance instantly.
One hand shot out like lightning, accurately seizing Li Fuxi’s two slender wrists and pinning them behind her back. His other arm wrapped around her waist, pulling her flush against his chest.
“Mmph—!”
Li Fuxi’s exclamation was stifled. Zhang Xian lowered his head and, with an irresistible dominance, claimed her soft lips.
Li Fuxi trembled violently. Her mind went blank.
Her eyes went wide, staring at the handsome face so close to hers. She felt the searing heat of his lips, the domineering yet gentle suction. A tingling numbness swept through her entire body, drowning her thoughts and her will to struggle. Her body went limp against him.
Her gaze shifted from shock and shame to a dazed, misty vacancy. Finally, her eyes slowly closed. Her long eyelashes trembled like butterfly wings as she clumsily began to respond.
Zhang Xian’s kiss grew deeper, his hands becoming more aggressive.
“Don’t… not here…” Taking advantage of a breathless gap, Li Fuxi panted softly, her voice weak and melting.
Zhang Xian didn’t answer. He simply waved the arm wrapped around her waist.
Hum—!
The smooth jade wall on one side of the hot spring chamber suddenly rippled like water. It slid open silently, revealing the entrance to a hidden chamber.
In the center of the secret room lay a massive water bed, carved from a single piece of warm, smooth jade. The bed’s surface was covered with a thin, flowing membrane of water, shimmering like liquid silk. Above, the dome of the chamber was inlaid with countless tiny Spirit Stones, emitting a soft, dreamy starlight that illuminated the space like a brilliant night sky.
“This… when did…” Li Fuxi stared at the secret chamber, thick with an amorous atmosphere. Her beautiful eyes were wide with shock. She had cultivated here often over the past six months, yet she had never known this mechanism existed.
“I prepared it for you long ago,” Zhang Xian whispered in her ear. His warm breath ghosted over her sensitive earlobe, carrying a hint of pride and undeniable possessiveness.
He scooped the thoroughly soaked, soft-as-boneless Li Fuxi into his arms and strode toward the dreamlike water bed.
Li Fuxi nestled in his embrace, her eyes shimmering with moisture. Looking at Zhang Xian’s profile, she finally understood.
“So you planned this all along,” she murmured, her tone a mix of shyness and feigned anger. “You little pervert.”
Zhang Xian looked down at her delicate, alluring face. “Yes. And unfortunately for you, there is no escape.”
He gently placed her on the soft water bed. The water membrane tenderly supported her body, a wondrous, floating sensation. Starlight fell upon her pure white dress, outlining her breathtaking curves; the full arc cinched by the ribbon rose and fell slightly amidst the starlight and the glow of the water.
Zhang Xian leaned over, kissing her lips again. This time, it was gentler, yet deeper.
Li Fuxi let out a faint whimper. Her body trembled, her hands unconsciously climbing onto his broad back.
On the water bed, under the starlight.
Two young, vigorous bodies tightly intertwined. In this secret, dreamlike space, they composed the most primitive, ancient rhythm of life.
Outside the secret chamber, the hot spring pool continued to swirl with steam, as if nothing had happened. Only the swaying starlight bore witness to the forbidden flower quietly blooming on this sleepless night atop Spirit Sword Peak.
