“You made it back?Too little,too late.”
Facing Han Lie’s Unity slash,a middle-aged man among the group simply raised a hand and clenched his fist.

The spectral hands slammed into empty air a split second later,shattering the space like a broken mirror and leaving a jagged,pitch-black scar that spanned tens of thousands of miles.
It was a terrifying display of power,but the targets were already gone.

“I may have missed Gui Zhan Zi,but if I let you escape,I wouldn’t be able to face Elder Lin or the Grand Elder.”
Sha Zui’s voice was soft,but her action was absolute.

Han Lie waved a hand dismissively.”It is not your fault,Senior Zhu Xuan.The Sun Moon Sect dispatched a Soul Formation expert.The fact that you are unharmed is a blessing in itself.”
Zhu Xuan was only one man.Pinned down by Liu Tianxing,he couldn’t be in two places at once.And the city guards were useless against such power.
Still,Zhu Xuan sighed deeply.Protecting Han Lie’s parents had been a direct order from Sect Leader Ye Qingxuan.He didn’t know how he would face her.
“Elder Lin,how should we deal with this Liu Tianxing?”Sha Zui asked.
Han Lie looked at the captive with grim determination.”Bring him.We return to the Sect Leader and the Grand Elder!”
His only hope now was a hostage exchange.Though…looking at how decisive Gui Zhan Zi had been in abandoning him,Han Lie suspected Liu Tianxing was considered expendable.
Without delay,the trio took their prisoner and returned to Dragon City.
