Chapter 277: Thank You for the Taiyin Profound Maiden Fruit, Sister! The She-Devil’s Reward
“Yes, Master.”
Han Lie’s voice was a soft whisper, his expression a perfect mask of dazed submission.
“Hehehe… HAHAHAHA!”
A throaty, triumphant laugh erupted from Lin Jiaomei as she threw her head back, savoring her victory. The four female cultivators beside her mirrored her excitement, their eyes gleaming with avarice.
While Han Lie was to be Lin Jiaomei’s exclusive Cultivation Cauldron, they knew their mistress. Given their relationship, it wouldn’t be impossible to get a taste of his Pure Yang Qi.
A Pure Yang Sacred Body…
A treasure of such legendary quality. None of them had ever even dreamed of touching such a man.
Lin Jiaomei’s laughter subsided into a predatory purr. She slowly lifted the hem of her skirt, her voice dripping with command. “Pretty boy, your master is feeling… empty. Kneel. Satisfy me. And if your performance is lacking… oh, I *will* punish you.”
“Yes, Master. I will not disappoint you.”
Following her command, Han Lie knelt. A pungent, salty odor immediately assaulted his senses. If he weren’t already on his knees, Lin Jiaomei would have surely seen the undisguised disgust twisting his features.
*Truly a filthy harlot,* Han Lie cursed internally. He had cultivated with countless celestial maidens like Ye Qingxuan and Zhuo Hongyi, yet none possessed an odor as foul as this.
Then, with a flicker of intent, a second teleportation jade stone materialized in his palm.
In the next instant, Lin Jiaomei wasn’t met with the devoted service she expected.
Instead, a fist slammed into her.
Her delicate body shuddered from the force of the blow. She looked down in a rage, only to see Han Lie—the man whose mind she had supposedly enslaved—grinning up at her, his teeth a brilliant white. “Sister, you didn’t *really* think you had me under your control, did you?”
His voice was laced with contempt. “I would rather die than let a creature like you defile my body.”
“And thank you for the Taiyin Profound Maiden Fruit! Farewell!”
Before Lin Jiaomei could even process the betrayal, Han Lie crushed the jade stone in his hand.
The moment it shattered, a sharp *whoosh* echoed in the chamber, and Han Lie vanished into thin air.
The tables had turned so fast that the four attendants were left frozen in shock. By the time their minds caught up, Han Lie was long gone. They turned to their mistress, their bodies trembling uncontrollably.
Lin Jiaomei’s face was so thunderous it seemed carved from storm clouds. A monstrous, suffocating killing intent instantly flooded the entire realm.
“Good… *very* good,” she hissed, her voice dangerously low. “So the first teleportation jade was just a feint? A trick to deceive me?”
Her eyes blazed with murderous light. “You little bitch… you toy boy… you had better pray I never find you. Because if I do… I will make you beg for a death that will never come!”
With her vow hanging in the air, she shot off like a meteor, chasing the faint residual aura Ye Qingxuan had left behind.
She tore through the sky for thousands of miles, but then, the trail abruptly vanished.
Suspended in the vast, empty sky, gazing at the boundless earth below, the fury in Lin Jiaomei’s heart finally erupted.
*BOOM!*
The sky, once clear for a thousand miles, was instantly devoured by roiling black clouds. Savage bolts of lightning tore through the darkness, illuminating a world plunged into twilight. A suffocating pressure, heavy and absolute, crushed the very air, making it impossible to breathe.
Lin Jiaomei trembled from head to toe with pure, unventable rage. She had anticipated a trick, had taken precautions, and yet she had still been played for a fool by Han Lie and Ye Qingxuan.
Not only had she lost the one-in-a-billion Pure Yang Sacred Body, but the Taiyin Profound Maiden Fruit—the prize she’d spent 2.8 billion Spirit Stones to acquire—was gone as well.
It was a catastrophic loss on all fronts.
………
Meanwhile, at the border of the Southern Region.
“Hahahahaha!”
From the moment he’d teleported back, Han Lie hadn’t stopped laughing.
Laughter, it seemed, was contagious. Seeing him so delighted, Ye Qingxuan couldn’t help but cover her mouth, her shoulders shaking with silent chuckles.
“Gods, I’m dying!” Han Lie finally gasped, wiping a tear from his eye. “That filthy harlot actually thought she’d turned me into her Cultivation Cauldron! Just picturing that look of smug excitement on her face… it’s priceless!”
Ye Qingxuan’s light laughter filled the air. “Everything went according to plan. Her actions were exactly what we predicted. Had she been more cautious, this would have been far more troublesome.”
She was right. Their primary plan had been to feign capture and escape when her guard was down. It was a testament to Lin Jiaomei’s cunning that she hadn’t fallen for it. If Han Lie hadn’t taken the Spirit Cleansing Profound Pill beforehand, the situation would have become dire.
Ye Qingxuan was confident she could defeat Lin Jiaomei in a direct confrontation. However, if a Void Refining Stage expert was determined to flee, even she would have trouble stopping them. Killing a cultivator of that level was no simple task unless they were foolish enough to stand and fight to the death.
All in all, the plan had carried significant risk.
But compared to the reward, it was a risk well within their acceptable limits. And now, it had paid off beautifully.
So what if Lin Jiaomei was furious? With those few useless cronies she’d brought along, did she dare come knocking on the door of the Heavenly Void Sect? Their sects weren’t even in the same region. Even if she wanted to mobilize the entire Joyous Union Sect for revenge, the logistics alone made it an impossible fantasy.
Besides, if she were foolish enough to come, they would have the home-field advantage. Ye Qingxuan was confident that on their turf, she could ensure Lin Jiaomei would never leave alive.
“Hehe, if she hadn’t been so transparently desperate to possess me from the start, getting that Taiyin Profound Maiden Fruit would have been a real headache,” Han Lie chuckled. If Lin Jiaomei had been more guarded, they might have needed to ally with others just to have a chance.
“You should say, ‘thanks to your Pure Yang Sacred Body’,” Ye Qingxuan corrected with a smile. Acquiring the fruit at virtually no cost had put her in an excellent mood.
Han Lie’s grin widened. “Qingxuan, my plan was brilliant, wasn’t it? Don’t I deserve a reward?”
“What kind of reward do you want?” Ye Qingxuan asked, feeling generous. Without his audacious honey-trap scheme, she would have lost her chance at the fruit forever. He certainly deserved something.
“It’s simple,” Han Lie said, his expression turning serious. “Just give me a kiss.”
He had always been the one to initiate their kisses. He was curious to see what it would feel like if she took the lead for once.
Ye Qingxuan smiled, a hint of helplessness in her eyes. She leaned in and pressed a light, fleeting kiss on his cheek, as gentle as a dragonfly skimming the water’s surface.
“There.” After she pulled back, a faint blush bloomed on her peerless face. Though they had cultivated together many times, this was the first time she had been the one to initiate a kiss. The uncharacteristic forwardness still sent a wave of heat to her cheeks.
“No, no!” Han Lie shook his head emphatically, pointing a finger at his own lips. “I meant *here*.”
“?” Ye Qingxuan froze for a second before a haughty look crossed her face. “You’re pushing your luck. I refuse!”
But Han Lie was feeling bold. “And today, I’m going to keep pushing,” he declared, his voice a low, teasing command. “Hurry up.”
