Synopsis

Infinite Resources: The MC can duplicate Spirit Stones, Pills, Talismans, and even rare materials daily.
Weak to Strong: Starting with poor aptitude (Four Spirit Roots) and rising to the top by forcibly upgrading talent using resources.
Pet/Army Building: Raising a mutated, intelligent Raven and commanding a legion of wind-blade-spitting crows.
Dual Cultivation: Orthodox Qi Refining on the surface, Demonic Blood Refining in the shadows.
Cautious Protagonist: Smart, low-key (“Gou” style), and decisive when threatened. No naive mercy.
【Synopsis】 Han Yu was a bottom-tier Handyman Disciple in Wanchun Valley, destined to toil in the Spirit Fields until old age with his poor Four Spirit Roots aptitude. That is, until he discovered a mysterious power in his right hand: The ability to duplicate any item he touches.
While other disciples fight to the death for a single Spirit Stone, Han Yu eats rare pills like candy. While geniuses boast of their natural talents, Han Yu uses a forbidden “Spirit Root Refining Art”—fueled by infinite duplicated Blood Essence—to painfully smelt his own Spirit Roots and defy the heavens to upgrade his aptitude.
But the Cultivation World is treacherous. Spies from rival sects infiltrate the valley, and war is on the horizon. To survive, Han Yu must walk a fine line. By day, he is a humble, hardworking Orthodox farmer. By night, he cultivates forbidden Demonic techniques and commands a terrifying army of Spirit Crows in the shadows.
“I do not seek trouble, but if you threaten my path to immortality, my crows will pick your bones clean.”
【Who is this NOT for?】
Not for Harem seekers: The MC focuses on survival and power, not collecting jade beauties.
Not for Instant-OP lovers: While the cheat is strong, the MC grows steadily and logically. He doesn’t become a God in Chapter 1.
Not for “Hero” lovers: The MC uses Demonic arts (Blood Refining) and is willing to kill to protect his secrets. He is not a saint.

Chapter 216: Depart Immediately

“Saint Blood, how dare you set me up!”

Tingchao City, East Sea Country. In the heart of the red-light district, the air was thick with the sounds of flirtatious laughter and lewd whispers.

A pale-faced cultivator with the appearance of a middle-aged man stormed out of the rear courtyard of a House of Ecstasy. He kicked open the door to a guest room and roared in fury.

Inside the room, the Saint Blood Perfected One sat cross-legged, his hair blood-red and his face showing slight signs of aging.

Before the bed lay a shriveled corpse, its eyes wide open—it had clearly died with regrets. The terror in its gaze was frozen in place from the moment of death.

Seeing the pale man barge in with such rage, the Saint Blood Perfected One chuckled. His form blurred, dissolving into a pool of blood. Wrapping the corpse’s essence blood within himself, he flew into the adjacent room.

“Fellow Daoist Ding, why the rush? Let us discuss this next door.”

Witnessing this, the pale-faced man’s anger surged even higher. “What is the meaning of this? You tell me you’re cultivating here, yet you hide away in the next room the moment I arrive?”

The Saint Blood Perfected One did not respond. The man had no choice but to charge into the neighboring room and kick that door open as well. “Saint Blood, explain yourself!”

“Fellow Daoist Ding, we are both Demonic Cultivators. To deceive each other is simply part of our nature. Why are you so surprised?” the Saint Blood Perfected One said unhurriedly. “Furthermore, before I agreed to run errands for you, I did warn you that Ye Guxing is the one person in the Southern Region you absolutely should not provoke.”

“And what did Fellow Daoist Ding say at the time? You said, ‘What can a backwater like the Southern Region possibly do?'”

“I know you successfully infiltrated Wanchun Valley with an avatar and retreated safely, leading you to believe the rest of the Southern Region was no different. But even if other Sects are similar to Wanchun Valley, Ye Guxing is… different.”

“It matters not that Fellow Daoist Ding looks down on the Southern Region, or Wanchun Valley, or even me—a fellow Golden Core cultivator who was chased by Ye Guxing like a stray dog.”

“But now that you have personally clashed with him, surely you understand that he is not to be trifled with.”

Hearing this, the pale-faced Fellow Daoist Ding retorted indignantly, “For you, he may be formidable. But I have never faced him in a true confrontation. I merely lost a sliver of my avatar’s soul. The outcome of a real battle is yet unknown!”

The Saint Blood Perfected One chuckled. He opened his mouth and swallowed the floating blood and essence in a single gulp, then stood up. “Fellow Daoist Ding makes a fair point. If you have such confidence, why not have a decisive battle with Ye Guxing today?”

“From what I know, since he discovered your avatar’s soul, he should be arriving in Tingchao City before long.”

“When that time comes, it will be the perfect opportunity for Fellow Daoist Ding to display your divine might.”

Fellow Daoist Ding snorted coldly, clasping his hands behind his back as he stood by the window. “Indeed, we should fight. He follows the sword cultivation path of the Mystic Sword Sect; it’s not as if I haven’t fought their kind before!”

However, no sooner had the words left his mouth than his tone shifted abruptly. “But… it would be unwise to delay the Sect’s important matters.”

“Saint Blood, have you arranged everything?”

“Naturally,” the Saint Blood Perfected One replied, unsurprised by the sudden change in attitude. As fellow Demonic Cultivators, being Shameless, treacherous, sinister, and full of empty bluster were merely traits of their “true nature.” They knew each other too well.

“Was it not my subordinate demonic cultivators who helped find a host for one of your avatars in the Nanli Kingdom and inserted it into Wanchun Valley? I have quite a few of my little cubs scattered across the Nanli and East Sea Kingdoms. I have made arrangements for the ones people would least suspect.”

“Since everything is arranged, we should return to the Sect early to report.” Fellow Daoist Ding wore a nonchalant expression, acting as if the earlier rage and the bluster about fighting Ye Guxing had come from someone else entirely. “Those three wanton harlots from the Joyous Union Sect have been enjoying themselves here and seem reluctant to leave.”

The Saint Blood Perfected One understood that his ally needed a face-saving exit and smiled. “Indeed. In my opinion, it is best we depart immediately.”

Senior Brother Ding looked pleased. “Good. Let us depart immediately.”

“We have alerted the enemy, and we are carrying dead weight. We must leave this place as soon as possible.”

Plan settled, Senior Brother Ding flashed away to his own room to retrieve a captured little girl, while the Saint Blood Perfected One went to summon the trio from the Joyous Union Sect.

Saint Blood transformed into a streak of crimson light, landing before a large suite. “Fellow Daoist Qin, please bring your two juniors and your tools.”

“Fellow Daoist Ding says we must depart immediately.”

“Depart immediately?” A seductive, dissatisfied voice drifted from inside. “Why such urgency?”

“As for that, I do not know. Fellow Daoist Qin might as well ask Fellow Daoist Ding himself,” Saint Blood replied, ever the slippery old fox.

“Hmph. Does he think he can order us to leave on a whim?”

A beautiful middle-aged woman, her clothes disheveled, walked out of the room while lazily tying her sash.

Behind her followed two equally stunning young women, also adjusting their garments.

“You two, keep an eye on our treasure. Don’t lose him.”

“I’ll go ask that man surnamed Ding if there’s any order to his madness. We were just getting to the good part, and now we have to leave?”

The woman, Fellow Daoist Qin, complained as she swayed her waist like a water snake, walking gracefully toward Ding’s quarters.

The two young beauties exchanged a glance, giggled, and returned to the room.

“Good little treasure, don’t be angry. Everything will be fine once we return to the Central Heaven Domain…”

“We will definitely treat you well.”

Lu Yun looked at the two young women standing before him with despair. “Qi Feiyan, Ji Qingling… just kill me…”

“I am a disciple of Wanchun Valley. I will never defect to a demonic sect or follow the evil path of the Joyous Union Sect!”

“Ji Qingling” covered her mouth and chuckled. “Oh, my precious treasure, that isn’t my real name. I only played the part of a little girl for a few days—why are you still calling me that? Do I seem that immature to you?”

“Tch!” Lu Yun sneered in disdain.

“Besides, you are mistaken…” The woman known as Ji Qingling smiled, tracing a finger across his chest. “You won’t be becoming a disciple of our Joyous Union Sect. You will merely be a plaything—a treasure for us, master and disciples, to enjoy.”

“A fine specimen like you? We wouldn’t share you with anyone else.”

“So, you don’t need to worry about defecting.”

Lu Yun’s face turned crimson. “Screw your mother! I am not an object!”

“Unfortunately, my mother died early. Otherwise, that might not be out of the question.”

Ji Qingling wore a playful grin, her Shameless demeanor leaving Lu Yun utterly defeated.

In Wanchun Valley, Lu Yun was known as a lewd and wretched man. Yet, in the hands of the Joyous Union Sect, he seemed purer than a virgin maiden…

A short while later, the middle-aged woman surnamed Qin returned. She signaled for the girls to bring Lu Yun along. Together with the Saint Blood Perfected One and Senior Brother Ding, who carried the little girl, the group slipped out of Tingchao City.

They headed north, making straight for the Central Heaven Domain.

Not long after their departure, a streak of sword light descended upon Tingchao City. It scoured the area for traces of Demonic Cultivators, searching until daybreak before finally departing.

Once the sword light had vanished, a short woman dressed in martial attire, with a green pattern marking her forehead, appeared atop the city wall.

Though she was dressed like a typical wandering swordswoman, the guards ringing the morning bells nearby seemed completely unable to perceive her presence.

“The Southern Region is falling into chaos… The Nine Great Sects are truly timid, incompetent cowards. They can accomplish nothing. If they really intend to exterminate the Demonic Stars, what use is mere probing?”

“The other Demonic Star is in the Nanli Kingdom, in Wanchun Valley…”

“Perfect. I shall go take a look.”
