Synopsis

Infinite Resources: The MC can duplicate Spirit Stones, Pills, Talismans, and even rare materials daily.
Weak to Strong: Starting with poor aptitude (Four Spirit Roots) and rising to the top by forcibly upgrading talent using resources.
Pet/Army Building: Raising a mutated, intelligent Raven and commanding a legion of wind-blade-spitting crows.
Dual Cultivation: Orthodox Qi Refining on the surface, Demonic Blood Refining in the shadows.
Cautious Protagonist: Smart, low-key (“Gou” style), and decisive when threatened. No naive mercy.
【Synopsis】 Han Yu was a bottom-tier Handyman Disciple in Wanchun Valley, destined to toil in the Spirit Fields until old age with his poor Four Spirit Roots aptitude. That is, until he discovered a mysterious power in his right hand: The ability to duplicate any item he touches.
While other disciples fight to the death for a single Spirit Stone, Han Yu eats rare pills like candy. While geniuses boast of their natural talents, Han Yu uses a forbidden “Spirit Root Refining Art”—fueled by infinite duplicated Blood Essence—to painfully smelt his own Spirit Roots and defy the heavens to upgrade his aptitude.
But the Cultivation World is treacherous. Spies from rival sects infiltrate the valley, and war is on the horizon. To survive, Han Yu must walk a fine line. By day, he is a humble, hardworking Orthodox farmer. By night, he cultivates forbidden Demonic techniques and commands a terrifying army of Spirit Crows in the shadows.
“I do not seek trouble, but if you threaten my path to immortality, my crows will pick your bones clean.”
【Who is this NOT for?】
Not for Harem seekers: The MC focuses on survival and power, not collecting jade beauties.
Not for Instant-OP lovers: While the cheat is strong, the MC grows steadily and logically. He doesn’t become a God in Chapter 1.
Not for “Hero” lovers: The MC uses Demonic arts (Blood Refining) and is willing to kill to protect his secrets. He is not a saint.

Over the past year, the traveling merchant had visited the Green Grain Market several times. However, Han Yu, busy with his cultivation and heavily guarded by the Sect, had never sought him out.

Moreover, the merchant had shown no signs of possessing the Qi Refining Spirit Boosting Pill. He simply continued his monotonous requests for the Thousand-Year Sunkwood Heart.

Having learned this from his crows, Han Yu had dismissed the man entirely.

But today was different.

The message brought back by the crows was specific. The merchant was no longer just asking; he was shouting a new slogan: “The Pill has arrived. Seeking Wood Heart.”

Could it be? Had the Qi Refining Spirit Boosting Pill actually appeared?

Han Yu’s pulse quickened.

If the pill was real, he had to get it.

A single pill could replace ten days of bitter cultivation. With his ability to replicate items, Han Yu wouldn’t just take one—he would mass-produce them. With a few dozen copies, he could force his cultivation all the way to the seventh layer of Qi Refining in record time.

However, Han Yu did not let greed override his reason. He didn’t rush out immediately. Instead, he calmed himself and dispatched the crows to conduct a more thorough reconnaissance.

It wouldn’t be too late to decide once the intelligence was confirmed.

The Little Crow cawed in acknowledgment and took flight, soaring away from the main peak of Wanchun Valley.

Han Yu forced himself to focus. He picked up a jade slip on Formation theory and Artifact Refining, reading until his heartbeat returned to its slow, rhythmic baseline.

Once his mind was still, he retrieved the Ancestral Tree Spirit Liquid and the Thousand-Year Sunkwood Heart. He began his daily routine: first the Green Grain Qi Cultivation Method, followed by the Blood Refining Technique.

As for the Thousand Illusions Secret Art and the Beast Heart Psychic Pact, he set them aside for now. He had mastered the basics of what he needed. Without new illusion spells, the former had hit a bottleneck, and he had no intention of switching his main cultivation to the latter. As long as he could command his crows and deploy the Spirit Beast Formation, that was enough.

By nightfall, the sky was a canvas of obsidian scattered with diamonds.

Han Yu sat cross-legged on his seven-foot spindle , hovering in mid-air above the courtyard. Under the moonlight, he continued his delicate work of guiding and refining the sixth Star Luo Thread.

Elder Lü, having finished his evening duties, stood in the doorway below, watching his disciple with a contented expression.

Under the starlight, six faint, gossamer threads shimmered behind Han Yu, connecting to the spindle which pulsed with a soft rhythm.

The scene was fleeting. If one blinked and looked again with naked eyes, the threads and the artifact seemed to vanish into the darkness. Only by extending one’s Spiritual Power perception could the specific shapes be discerned.

Han Yu finished his cycle and exhaled a plume of turbid air. Seeing his Master watching from below, he slowly descended and landed softly on the stone pavement.

“Master.”

“Is your cultivation going smoothly?” Elder Lü asked warmly.

“It is steady,” Han Yu replied. He paused, frowning slightly as he looked up at the night sky. “However… there is something I have been confused about recently.”

“Oh?”

“Master, why are those seven brightest stars moving so fast?” Han Yu pointed upward. “I have observed the other stars, and they remain relatively fixed. But these seven… over the last year, they have traveled a vast distance across the sky.”

Elder Lü blinked in surprise. “Seven stars? Which seven?”

Han Yu pointed them out, tracing their positions against the constellation. “Originally, three were clustered in the center, with four distributed in the cardinal directions. Now, two are in the center, and one of the central stars has migrated all the way to the west…”

Elder Lü stared at the empty patch of sky Han Yu was pointing at, then turned his gaze back to his disciple. His expression was a mix of shock and suspicion.

“Disciple… have you learned the Little Sky Net Sect’s ‘Star Sensing Art’?”

“What ‘Star Sensing Art’?” Han Yu shook his head. “I have never heard of it.”

Elder Lü sighed, his face grave. “The Little Sky Net Sect possesses a technique called the ‘Star Sensing Art.’ It allows practitioners to see things in the celestial phenomena that ordinary mortals—and even other cultivators—cannot. In my opinion, it is hard to say if these things are real or hallucinations. But it certainly makes their disciples act mysteriously, speaking in riddles and deliberately trying to confuse people.”

Han Yu listened, the implication slowly sinking in. A cold chill ran down his spine. “Master… are you saying you cannot see those seven bright stars?”

Elder Lü nodded. “I see nothing but the usual constellations. Let me ask you—before you started cultivating the Star Luo Traction Technique, could you see them?”

Han Yu froze.

He searched his memory. Before entering Wanchun Valley, he had been a simple village boy who never looked at the sky with any purpose. After joining the Sect, he had buried his head in cultivation.

It was only after obtaining the Star Luo Traction Technique—and specifically, the spindle artifact—that he had developed the patience to observe the stars nightly.

He had assumed the seven bright stars were a natural feature of the night sky, visible to everyone. He had been watching them for a year, never realizing he was the only one.

“Master, I… I definitely couldn’t see them before,” Han Yu admitted, his voice tight. “Are these stars an illusion caused by the technique? If this art causes hallucinations that might affect my mind, I will stop cultivating it immediately.”

Elder Lü considered this, then shook his head. “That is not necessary.”

“Seeing anomalies between heaven and earth is the favorite pastime of the Little Sky Net Sect. It seems you have inadvertently touched upon their domain.”

“As long as you do not take these visions as absolute truth, and do not let them dictate your actions or start preaching about ‘destiny’ like a fanatic, you will be fine.”

Han Yu let out a breath of relief. “I understand, Master. I will treat them as mere scenery and pay them no mind.”

Just then, a flurry of wings interrupted them.

The Little Crow swooped down from the darkness, landing heavily on Han Yu’s shoulder. It cawed softly, transmitting a stream of images and emotions directly into Han Yu’s mind.

Han Yu’s eyes widened.

“What is it?” Elder Lü asked, noting the change in his expression.

“The merchant,” Han Yu said, his voice dropping.

Because of Zhu San’s loose lips, the traveling merchant knew Han Yu’s name and had a rough idea of his talents. Since the Green Grain Market was crawling with Wanchun Valley disciples, the merchant had managed to piece together more of Han Yu’s reputation—including the fact that he controlled three crow spirit birds.

When the Little Crow had gone to spy on the merchant today, the merchant’s puppet had spotted it. Recognizing it as a spirit bird, the puppet had approached and asked if it belonged to Han Yu.

The crow, naturally, was too smart to expose itself. It remained silent. But the merchant was persistent—he had stuffed a roll of parchment into the crow’s talons, begging it to deliver the message.

However, the Little Crow sensed danger. It refused to bring the unknown object directly to its master. Instead, it had dropped the parchment outside the main peak, hiding it near the Spirit Field Department.

Han Yu reached up and stroked the crow’s sleek feathers. “Well done.”

Elder Lü looked puzzled. “What was done well? Did it pick a fight with another crane?”

“No, Master.” Han Yu decided to be transparent. “I previously asked you about the Qi Refining Spirit Boosting Pill. I learned later that it doesn’t exist in the Southern Domain.”

“However, that traveling merchant—the one connected to Zhu San—told me he had visited the Central Heaven Domain. He claimed he could find a way to get me either the pill or its main ingredient, the Jade Spirit Berry.”

“Today, he returned to the Green Grain Market. He passed a message to my crow, wanting to trade.”

“My crow feared the message might be a trap, so it left the parchment at the Spirit Field Department instead of bringing it here to the main peak.”

Elder Lü’s eyebrows shot up. “You… your guts are too big!”

“That merchant is a complete unknown! His nature is murky, his allegiance unknown. What if he intends to harm you? What then?”

Elder Lü paced for a moment, then looked at the crow with grudging respect. “But your spirit birds… they are truly clever. They know that people often use items as mediums for dark arts. Leaving the message outside the main peak was the correct choice.”

“If there were a remote blood curse or a distant hex on that parchment, bringing it here would have been a disaster. Such things are hard to guard against!”

Seeing that his Master’s anger came from a place of concern, Han Yu felt a warm current in his chest. “Yes, Master. I was negligent. I will be more careful in the future.”

He paused, then asked the critical question.

“Master… should I still trade with this person?”
