Synopsis

“They meditate for enlightenment. I audit for efficiency.”
Sun Yi, a top-tier scientist from Earth, transmigrates into the body of a lowly servant disciple in the Qingyun Sect. His start is a nightmare: he has trash-tier Spirit Roots, no background, and the sect itself is on the brink of bankruptcy, surrounded by hostile warlords.
In a world where strength is everything, Sun Yi realizes the Elders have it all wrong. A sect isn’t a family; it’s a corporation. And the Qingyun Sect is failing because of bad management.
Using modern business strategies and scientific knowledge, Sun Yi stages a “hostile takeover” to become the new Sect Leader (CEO). He doesn’t rely on luck or destiny; he relies on Capital.
His Reform Plan:
The “Pay-to-Win” Strategy: Why meditate for ten years when you can burn 500 million points of resources to level up in a week? Time is money.
R&D Revolution: Can’t use Divine Sense in the Forbidden Forest? Invent a “Spirit Plate” (Radar) to loot resources while others are flying blind.
Financial Leverage: Introduce “Sect Loans” and “Performance KPIs” to turn lazy disciples into hyper-productive employees.
Hostile Takeovers: Why risk your own life in war? Use the sect’s profits to outsource violence and hire high-level mercenaries to wipe out rival sects.
Watch Sun Yi turn a crumbling sect into a cultivation empire, proving that with enough funding, even a trash talent can defy the Heavens.
Welcome to Cultivation, Inc. We are now open for business.

What to expect:
Smart / Rational MC: The MC treats cultivation like a business project. No brainless arrogance.
Kingdom / Sect Building: Detailed management of resources, personnel, and expansion.
Weak-to-Strong (via Resources): The MC starts weak but becomes OP by “eating” resources like candy.
Tech meets Magic: Creating radars (Spirit Plates), assembly lines, and modern concepts in a Xianxia world.
No Harem: The MC is married to the grind (and the Sect’s GDP).
Face-Slapping: But done with logic, money, and policy changes rather than just fists.

Chapter 131: The Black Wind Stockade Arrives, The Great Battle Approaches

Inside the cultivation chamber, Elder Ye Luo had just finished saturating his newly opened Fire Gate with True Qi. He was eager to test his new capabilities.

Right at that moment, Sun Yi’s identity token, along with the tokens of the Elders, emitted a low-frequency hum.

“Not good! Someone is attacking our mountain-protecting Formation!” Elder Jin Jue’s expression changed drastically.

“Move! To the perimeter!”

In the next moment, the group rushed out of the chamber, appearing in the sky above the Qingyun Sect at astonishing speed.

Looking toward the eastern border, a sight met their eyes. A massive golden Talisman had been slapped directly onto the Sect’s protective array. From the Talisman, glowing golden patterns spread, aggressively eroding the light shield that protected their home.

“A Rank 4 Formation-Breaking Talisman!” Elder Qin Chu’s face turned ashen.

Sun Yi immediately pulled out his Spirit Plate, activating it. The display lit up with over 500 white hostile markers, along with one massive signature indicating a flying boat.

“It’s either the Evil Spirit Valley or the Black Wind Stockade,” Sun Yi said, his voice cold. “Over 500 hostiles detected. Elder Qin Chu, open the treasure vault immediately. Withdraw every single Talisman. No reserves.”

“At once!” Elder Qin Chu transformed into a streak of light, rocketing toward the treasury.

Sun Yi circulated his True Qi to amplify his voice, broadcasting his command to the entire Sect. “All Sect members and disciples, heed my command! Prepare for immediate combat! All Qi Refining disciples, fall back to the rear mountain. All Foundation Establishment disciples, pair up—one high-level with one low-level.”

His voice boomed. “Listen to me! The Qingyun Sect is under invasion! We have no way back! We must fight our way out!”

Driven by the broadcast, streaks of light shot into the sky from every corner of the Sect. Within seconds, over 4000 cultivators were mobilized, hovering in the air.

“Headmaster, we want to fight too!” A disciple at the Grand Perfection of Qi Refining shouted, his eyes burning with fierce determination.

“Yes! I want to fight!” another Grand Perfection disciple roared. “No matter who they are, anyone who dares invade the Qingyun Sect will pay in blood!”

Seeing the determination of his disciples, Sun Yi made a decision.

“All Qi Refining disciples, form ten-man squads immediately! Each squad will be assigned two Foundation Establishment disciples! Remember, do not fight alone!”

“Yes, Headmaster!”

The Qingyun Sect moved with precision. Ten familiar Qi Refining Grand Perfection disciples instantly clumped together. Simultaneously, the Foundation Establishment disciples paired off.

Elder Jin Jue swooped in, assigning the Foundation Establishment duos to the Qi Refining squads, forming twelve-man combat units.

“War Hall, front and center!” Sun Yi roared.

Instantly, the 300-plus members of the newly formed War Hall materialized before him, radiating a suffocating aura of killing intent.

Sun Yi scanned their ranks. Although most were still at the Qi Refining stage, every single one of them had successfully opened the Five Gates. They were the ultimate beneficiaries of the Sect’s resources. They were formidable.

“War Hall, form three-man squads! Do your utmost to support the main squads! Spread the Foundation Establishment War Hall members out as squad leaders!”

“Yes, Sir!”

In the blink of an eye, the War Hall broke into 100 three-man squads, infiltrating the main battle lines. Though their team sizes were small, Sun Yi knew their strength was considerable.

Sun Yi looked over his forces. “Today is an existential threat to our Sect. I expect your full effort from every one of you. No mercy. Eliminate the enemy by any means necessary.”

“All squads! High-level disciples, match your targets! You handle the Foundation Establishment hostiles. Leave the Golden Core enemies to us!”

In the time it took an incense stick to burn, the entire Qingyun Sect was organized, standing in a massive formation behind Sun Yi and the Elders.

Sun Yi stared at the violently shaking golden Talisman, his face grim.

Plans can never keep up with changes, he thought. He had planned to wait for Patriarch Qingxuan to return and lead an offensive strike. He never expected the enemy would launch a preemptive raid.

The Rank 4 Talisman continued its aggressive erosion. The grand light shield covering the Sect was thinning, fracturing under the strain.

A streak of light arrived. Elder Qin Chu reappeared.

“Distribute the Talismans!” Elder Qin Chu roared. “Hold nothing back! The moment the barrier drops, unleash everything!”

Using his True Qi, Elder Qin Chu telekinetically distributed the contents of his Storage Ring, dropping stacks of Talismans into the hands of every squad.

The disciples eagerly armed themselves. Although most were Rank 1 and Rank 2 Talismans—which only acted as distractions against Foundation Establishment enemies—in large-scale battle, the cumulative effect would be significant.

Sun Yi turned to the Elders. “Elder Jin Jue, Elder Ye Luo. I don’t know the exact number of their Golden Core elites, but you two are our main defense. You must hold the frontline.”

Elder Jin Jue locked his eyes on the eroding barrier. A golden spirit sword materialized above his head, vibrating with a terrifying, homicidal aura. “No matter who it is, to destroy my Qingyun Sect, they must step over my corpse!”

“Do not hoard the high-grade Talismans we bought from the Seven Star Tower,” Sun Yi ordered, his voice tight. “Maximize your impact. Wipe them out fast… and pray their Nascent Soul Patriarch didn’t come today.”

Sun Yi inhaled sharply. With Patriarch Qingxuan away, the Sect was completely exposed. If a Nascent Soul monster appeared on the battlefield, it would be a total catastrophe.

KRA-KOOM!

High above, the golden Talisman flared with blinding light. A deafening crack echoed across the mountains, and the Sect’s protective shield shattered into a million fragments of light.

Through the breach, a massive flying boat eclipsed the sun. The emblem of the Black Wind Stockade was emblazoned on its hull.

The next moment, Wen Sha led the charge, leaping from the deck. Seven Golden Core powerhouses and over 500 Foundation Establishment elites descended from the sky, their combined auras crashing down like a tsunami.
