Synopsis

“They meditate for enlightenment. I audit for efficiency.”
Sun Yi, a top-tier scientist from Earth, transmigrates into the body of a lowly servant disciple in the Qingyun Sect. His start is a nightmare: he has trash-tier Spirit Roots, no background, and the sect itself is on the brink of bankruptcy, surrounded by hostile warlords.
In a world where strength is everything, Sun Yi realizes the Elders have it all wrong. A sect isn’t a family; it’s a corporation. And the Qingyun Sect is failing because of bad management.
Using modern business strategies and scientific knowledge, Sun Yi stages a “hostile takeover” to become the new Sect Leader (CEO). He doesn’t rely on luck or destiny; he relies on Capital.
His Reform Plan:
The “Pay-to-Win” Strategy: Why meditate for ten years when you can burn 500 million points of resources to level up in a week? Time is money.
R&D Revolution: Can’t use Divine Sense in the Forbidden Forest? Invent a “Spirit Plate” (Radar) to loot resources while others are flying blind.
Financial Leverage: Introduce “Sect Loans” and “Performance KPIs” to turn lazy disciples into hyper-productive employees.
Hostile Takeovers: Why risk your own life in war? Use the sect’s profits to outsource violence and hire high-level mercenaries to wipe out rival sects.
Watch Sun Yi turn a crumbling sect into a cultivation empire, proving that with enough funding, even a trash talent can defy the Heavens.
Welcome to Cultivation, Inc. We are now open for business.

What to expect:
Smart / Rational MC: The MC treats cultivation like a business project. No brainless arrogance.
Kingdom / Sect Building: Detailed management of resources, personnel, and expansion.
Weak-to-Strong (via Resources): The MC starts weak but becomes OP by “eating” resources like candy.
Tech meets Magic: Creating radars (Spirit Plates), assembly lines, and modern concepts in a Xianxia world.
No Harem: The MC is married to the grind (and the Sect’s GDP).
Face-Slapping: But done with logic, money, and policy changes rather than just fists.

Chapter 159: The Qingyun Dao Palace

Sun Yi turned to Er Gouzi, his expression serious. “Changqing, establish a dedicated exchange point outside the sect gates. Your sole responsibility is to handle the rogue cultivators. If they don’t want supplies, exchange their Points for Spirit Stones immediately. No delays.”

“Understood, Headmaster!” Er Gouzi nodded vigorously.

“Time is of the essence,” Sun Yi clapped his hands, his voice echoing over the assembly. “Everyone, move out!”

The sky above the Qingyun Sect darkened as a fleet of flying boats ascended. Cultivators boarded in disciplined lines, their movements sharp and purposeful.

Sun Yi stepped onto the flagship—Patriarch Qingxuan’s personal Fourth-Rank Flying Boat. He stood on the prow, holding a jade slip containing a detailed map of the Chaos Demon Commandery. The wind whipped at his robes, but his gaze remained fixed on the horizon.

Elder Han Yun landed beside him. “Headmaster, all personnel are accounted for. We are ready.”

“Good,” Sun Yi commanded. “First stop: Yellow Earth City.”

Han Yun nodded. He formed a hand seal, and the massive vessel hummed with power. A protective barrier shimmered into existence, and the boat accelerated, turning into a streak of light that pierced the western sky.

Yellow Earth City was a sprawling metropolis, home to over 2 million mortals. It lay a thousand miles from the sect, a distance the Fourth-Rank vessel covered in moments.

As the massive shadow of the flying boat fell over the city, panic and awe erupted in the streets below.

“Look up! In the sky!”

“Immortals! The Immortals have descended!”

“Kneel! Quickly, kneel and pray!”

Like wheat in the wind, the populace of Yellow Earth City fell to their knees. They kowtowed furiously, their foreheads striking the dust.

Sun Yi looked down at the sea of humanity. “Deploy.”

At his command, one thousand cultivators leaped from the deck. They didn’t fall; they hovered in perfect formation, a silent army of gods suspended in the air.

The sight drove the mortals into a frenzy.

“A thousand Immortals…”

“We are blessed! Truly blessed!”

Sun Yi took a step forward, leaving the protection of the boat. His Divine Sense expanded, sweeping over the city like a radar wave.

He saw everything. The poverty. The sickness. The hunger. The fear.

His expression softened, but his voice boomed with the authority of a deity.

“Rise.”

The command resonated in every ear, gentle yet irresistible.

“I am Sun Yi, Headmaster of the Qingyun Sect,” he announced. “From this day forth, Yellow Earth City is under my protection. You are now subjects of the Qingyun Sect.”

The city held its breath.

“We will build a Qingyun Dao Palace in your midst,” Sun Yi continued. “We will teach the Dao to those with affinity. We will heal your sick. We will fill your granaries. No one under my banner will starve.”

The concepts of “Dao” and “Sect” were vague to the mortals, but “no starvation” was a language they understood perfectly.

“Thank you, Great Immortal!”

“Long live the Headmaster!”

Sun Yi flew to the city center. He pointed a finger, and beams of light descended from the heavens, marking out a square perimeter of one hundred acres.

“I am requisitioning this land.”

He released his True Qi. It flowed like gentle water, wrapping around the residents within the marked zone.

With a thought, he lifted them.

Six hundred men, women, and children floated into the air, screaming in terror.

“Help! Don’t eat us!”

“Spare us, High Immortal!”

“Silence,” Sun Yi said calmly. “I am not harming you. I am moving you.”

He gently deposited them in a vacant lot outside the perimeter.

“Do not worry about your homes,” Sun Yi addressed the trembling crowd. “The Qingyun Sect does not steal. We will build you new residences, and you will receive compensation equal to one hundred times the value of your property.”

The weeping stopped instantly.

“One… one hundred times?”

“Are the Immortals joking?”

“How dare you question him! He’s a god!”

Fear turned to jubilation. They weren’t losing their homes; they were winning the lottery.

Sun Yi turned to Elder Han Yun. “Elder. The stage is yours.”

“Leave it to me.”

Han Yun stepped into the empty air above the marked zone. He raised a hand and clenched it.

BOOM!

A giant hand composed of spiritual energy materialized and slammed down. Dust billowed as the old buildings were pulverized and swept away in seconds.

Han Yun then tossed a square metal cube—a specialized Earth-element Spirit Weapon—onto the ruin.

The cube sank into the soil. The ground rippled like a disturbed pond. The rubble dissolved, the earth compacted, and in moments, the uneven terrain transformed into a plaza of polished, seamless stone.

Sun Yi watched with satisfaction. Cultivation infrastructure is efficient. No permits, no construction crews. Just will and power.

Finally, Han Yun waved his sleeve. A miniature model of a pagoda flew out, growing rapidly in the wind.

RUMBLE.

The Qingyun Dao Palace slammed into the foundation. It was a magnificent structure of azure stone and white jade, towering over the mortal city like a mountain peak. It radiated a soft, calming light that washed over the awestruck citizens.

Sun Yi looked at the Qingyun Dao Palace with satisfaction. In fact, he had participated in its design, and the effect was quite good.
