Chapter 89: Only I Can Bully You (Others Must Die)

“Roar…”

The majestic cry of dragons shattered the peace of the mountain gate. Nine massive azure dragons tore through the sky, their bodies like mountain ranges blocking out the sun.

The crowd erupted.

“That carriage… the ancient character ‘Gu’…”

“It’s Gu Changge! The Young Lord has returned!”

In the Daootian Immortal Palace, Gu Changge was a legend. He was the “True Immortal,” the “Young Deity,” the “Darling of the Dao.” His return after a six-month absence was a major event.

Jin Yu frowned, annoyed by the interruption. He disliked Gu Changge, mostly because his older brother feared the Gu Young Lord.

But he missed the change in the girl before him.

Gu Xianer stood frozen. Her eyes, usually clear and heroic, were now swirling with runes of hatred. A terrifying aura leaked from her slender frame.

“Miss…” Her old servant tugged at her sleeve, terrified she would do something rash.

She knew who was in that carriage.

Her bone was inside him. Their blood resonated. She could feel the phantom pain in her chest, the memory of the surgery, the cold betrayal of the brother she had adored.

“I know,” she whispered, forcing herself to calm down. “This is his territory. I cannot act yet.”

“Seize her!” Jin Yu barked, tired of waiting.

His servants lunged.

Gu Xianer’s eyes turned cold. She didn’t want trouble, but she wouldn’t be bullied.

ROAR!

Suddenly, the dragons turned.

Instead of flying up to the sect, the nine massive beasts banked hard, diving straight toward the market.

“He’s coming back! He’s coming here!” the crowd screamed, scattering in panic.

“Not good,” Gu Xianer thought, her heart sinking. “He sensed me.”

How could he not? The connection between them was undeniable.

“Gu Changge? Why is he coming here?” Jin Yu muttered, his face ugly. Was it for him?

The white jade carriage landed with a thunderous thud, crushing the pavement.

A gentle, pleasant male voice drifted from within.

“Long time no see. You seem to be doing well.”

Jin Yu blinked. Was Gu Changge greeting him?

He puffed out his chest, forcing a smile. “True Disciple Gu, you flatter me. How can I compare to you?”

“More than ten years… you’ve grown tall. And beautiful.”

Jin Yu’s smile froze.

Gu Changge stepped out of the carriage. He didn’t even glance at Jin Yu. His eyes were fixed on the green-clad girl standing behind him.

The crowd went silent.

Beautiful?

The words were clearly meant for the girl.

Gu Xianer stared back, her face icy. She didn’t say a word.

“Gu Changge!” Jin Yu snapped, humiliated by being ignored. “What is the meaning of this?”

“What kind of thing are you?” Gu Changge finally glanced at him, his expression one of utter indifference. “I am speaking to my little sister. Who are you to interrupt?”

“You…” Jin Yu choked, trembling with rage.

Gu Changge ignored him again. He walked toward Gu Xianer, a faint, amused smile on his lips.

He had sensed her the moment he arrived. So he turned around. Why wait? He might as well say hello and piss her off a little.

She was weak. He could crush her with a finger. But she had backers—powerful ones. Killing her would be messy.

But bullying her? That was fair game.

He checked her stats.

[Luck Points: 10,000]

Tsk. Higher than Yue Mingkong. These Upper Realm heroines are loaded.

“Heh,” Gu Xianer sneered, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “Gu Changge. My good brother. You have the nerve to call me sister?”

“If you ever saw me as a sister, would you have done that?”

“Meeting after so long, and this is your attitude?” Gu Changge sighed, looking hurt. “It really wounds my heart.”

He showed zero remorse.

Apologizing now would look fake. It was better to be the villain she expected.

“What attitude do you want?” Gu Xianer hissed, her fists clenched. “I want to smash that face of yours into pulp.”

The crowd gasped. His sister? They have a feud?

“Smash my face?” Gu Changge laughed lightly. “If you can do it, come and try.”

He turned his gaze back to Jin Yu. The warmth vanished instantly, replaced by a cold, murderous pressure.

“And you.”

“What kind of trash are you?”

“My sister… I can bully her.”

“But if you dare to touch her…”

“You can go die.”

Gu Changge raised his hand.

Runes condensed into a golden palm print, expanding rapidly until it covered the sky like the hand of a god.

“Gu Changge! You dare?!” Jin Yu shrieked, his face draining of blood.

Killing him at the sect gate? Was he insane?

The servants behind Jin Yu froze in terror. They were Void God Realm experts, but under this palm, they couldn’t even move.

BOOM!

The palm fell.

Blood mist exploded. The servants were vaporized instantly. Jin Yu vomited blood, his body shattering. A golden light—his soul wrapped in a protective artifact—shot out of the wreckage and fled into the distance.

Silence.

Dead silence.

The spectators trembled. Gu Changge had just crushed a Young Master of the Golden Horn Clan like a bug.

“Gu Changge,” Gu Xianer said, her voice shaking with rage. “Don’t think I’ll thank you for this.”

She didn’t need his help. She could have handled it. He had just stolen her fight to show off.

“No,” Gu Changge shook his head, his expression calm.

“I don’t need your thanks.”

“I just want you to know…”

“Only I am allowed to bully you. Anyone else who tries… dies.”
