Synopsis

At 78 years old, with one foot in the grave and zero achievements, Li Meng awakens a System that turns intimacy into immortality.

He has no time for meditation. He has no talent for swordsmanship. But in the infamous Joyous Union Sect, he has the perfect cheat code.

Dual Cultivation (Going all the way): LEVEL UP!

Realizing his advantage, Li Meng discards his dignity to survive. He adopts the persona of a harmless, benevolent “Grandpa” figure to lower the guards of the sect’s beautiful yet dangerous women.

To the outside world, he is the kind-hearted “Wealth-Scattering Senior Brother.” In reality, he is a cunning old fox hunting for his next source of cultivation.

From the arrogant Senior Aunt to the innocent Junior Sister, Li Meng will help them solve their problems… in exchange for a night of “cultivation.”

“I’ll use this opportunity to practice. I’ll refine a Top Grade Magical Artifact for Junior Sister Chen first. As for the offensive capabilities, I can simulate those using Talismans.”

The concept of embedding ‘Divine Abilities’ into artifacts was simple in theory: condense complex spells and Talismans into Dao patterns, then engrave them directly onto the vessel. When a cultivator used the weapon, they merely needed to inject Spiritual Power to activate the dormant patterns, unleashing devastation instantly.

Li Meng extended his Divine Sense into the Sword Nurturing Gourd hanging at his waist.

He began sifting through the massive trove of materials inside the Storage Bag gifted to him by the Yellow Sand King.

Refining the Five Elements Ring required materials corresponding to all five elemental attributes. While the strictness of the material selection could vary, quality mattered. Even among Top Grade Magical Artifacts, the difference in raw materials created a massive gulf in power.

Li Meng stood up, smoothing his robes. He walked around his desk to the center of the study.

With a casual flick of his sleeve, a meditation cushion flew out of the Sword Nurturing Gourd and landed softly on the floor.

Li Meng sat cross-legged on the cushion. His hands moved in a blur, forming a series of complex seals.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

Five golden Formation Talismans shot out from the gourd. They flew to five different corners of the room, adhering to the floor to establish the Formation Cores.

Hum.

The talismans erupted with brilliant, five-colored spiritual light. A complex array manifested on the ground, humming with energy.

Li Meng changed his hand seals again.

Five skeletons, each grotesque and radiating a fierce aura, drifted out of the gourd.

None of the skeletons were complete. They were fragments—rib cages, skulls, femurs—but they were the hardest, most spiritually dense portions of the beasts they once belonged to.

Every single one was the skeletal remains of a Level 4 Demon Beast.

Li Meng’s aura surged. His body began to glow with the same five-colored light as the array.

Whoosh!

The Five Elements Separation Fire ignited, wrapping the floating bones in a terrifying embrace. Now, it was just a matter of time and patience to melt them down.

Joyous Union Sect. Inner Sect Territory. A secluded, low-lying mountain peak.

Beneath the twisted branches of an ancient tree, Zhao Kuo paced back and forth like a trapped animal.

“What do I do? What can I possibly do?” he muttered, his voice cracking.

Cold sweat beaded on his forehead, dripping down his nose. His eyes darted around, wild with panic.

“With Junior Brother Li’s wealth and methods, he will definitely be able to wake Junior Sister Leng. And once she wakes up… once she speaks…”

Zhao Kuo knew exactly what would happen. The truth of the poison pill would come out.

“Damn it! Why is nothing going smoothly?!”

Roaring in frustration, he punched the trunk of the old tree.

Thud.

The ancient wood shuddered, shedding a cascade of dead leaves that drifted down around him like mocking confetti. A shadow of gloom settled over his face.

He had thought it would be simple. Relying on his identity as Leng Yixue’s Dao Companion, he planned to easily take away the Master’s Wife and his Junior Sister.

He never expected to stumble at the very first step.

He had considered trying to trick the Moon Gaze Peak formation token out of Yao Ning’s hands, but he feared arousing suspicion. So, he had abandoned the direct approach.

He had done his homework. He knew Moon Gaze Peak technically belonged to Senior Ruoshui, but she lived on Masked Moon Peak with the Supreme Elder. Since Li Meng had left, only three people remained: Leng Yixue, her mother, and that mysterious artifact refiner, “Master Iron Ox.”

Zhao Kuo had assumed that an artifact refiner would be an eccentric hermit who wouldn’t care about personal disputes. He thought that as soon as he flashed his credentials as Leng Yixue’s Dao Companion, this “Iron Ox” would simply wave him through to take the women.

But he had miscalculated.

From start to finish, he hadn’t even seen “Master Iron Ox.” He had been blocked at the door by that body-refining brute of a woman, Yao Ning.

“No… I can’t stay here. I must leave the Joyous Union Sect!”

Zhao Kuo’s expression shifted rapidly between fear and reluctance.

If the Enforcement Hall discovered what he had done—poisoning a fellow disciple with a waste pill—the penalty would be severe. “Severing his Immortal Fate” would be getting off light. He had no desire to rot in a dungeon until his body perished and his Dao dissipated.

But… to leave the sect just like that?

He looked toward Moon Gaze Peak, his eyes filled with a lost, bewildered pain.

If he fled now, he would become a rogue cultivator. He would never see the Master’s Wife or his Junior Sister again in this lifetime.

But if I stay… will I see them anyway? Or will I see the executioner?

The Enforcement Hall had ways to extract the truth. Soul searching, truth serums… denying it would be useless.

“Master’s Wife… Junior Sister… one day… I swear, one day…”

A glint of twisted unwillingness flashed in his eyes.

He had been too impatient. One wrong move, and the entire game was lost.

Stumbling like a drunkard, Zhao Kuo made his way to the cliff’s edge.

He summoned his flying sword, stepped onto it, and fled into the horizon without looking back.

On the mountain, cultivation knows no time. The same principle applied to artifact refining.

Unknowingly, over a month passed in the blink of an eye.

Moon Gaze Peak. Deep into the night.

The vast peak was silent under the moonlight. Inside a warm, steam-filled room on the upper floor of the pavilion.

Yao Ning sat comfortably inside a large wooden bathtub. Her skin was flushed a healthy pink, and her slender, jade-like fingers idly played with the water, creating ripples.

Li Meng stood beside the tub, casually tossing rare spirit plants into the steaming water as if they were common weeds.

“Senior Brother,” Yao Ning whispered, her voice thick with relaxation. “I think I’m about to break through.”

She peeked over the rim of the tub, her beautiful eyes stealing a glance at him through the steam.

Li Meng chuckled, stroking his chin.

“The potency of this medicinal bath is a bit high. Use it to push through the bottleneck.”

His Junior Sister’s progress was terrifying. Her body refining cultivation had already reached the Grand Perfection of Bone Refining. Her Qi Condensation cultivation had hit the eighth layer.

At this rate, she would reach Foundation Establishment within two years.

Yao Ning stretched her arms overhead, her wet skin glistening. She turned around, folding her arms on the edge of the tub and resting her chin on them, looking up at him.

“Senior Brother… you are so good to me.”

Li Meng reached out and gently flicked her forehead.

“Well, who told me to bring you up the mountain? Since I brought you here, Senior Brother has to take responsibility.”

Yao Ning’s eyes curved into happy crescents.

The luckiest thing that ever happened to me, she thought, was meeting Senior Brother.

Suddenly, Li Meng’s expression shifted.

He tilted his head, glancing out the window at the night sky.

“Junior Sister, focus on your cultivation.”

Without explaining, he turned and walked out of the room.

Yao Ning squinted through the steam, watching his retreating back with a mixture of curiosity and affection.

Outside Moon Gaze Peak.

A woman clad in a dress of iridescent purple silk hovered in the night sky, riding the wind.

The wind pressed the fabric against her body, teasingly revealing the full, luscious curves of her waist and hips. Her skirt fluttered around her legs like dancing petals.

It was Chen Lan.

She gazed at the mist-shrouded peak, a trace of hesitation in her eyes.

It’s so late, she thought, biting her lip. I can’t just shout his name from outside, can I? That would be rude.

Just as she was considering coming back another day, the clouds churned.

The protective formation parted, opening a smooth tunnel through the mist.

A figure in golden robes shot out from the passage, flying straight toward her.

“Junior Sister!”

The familiar voice made Chen Lan’s heart skip a beat. A radiant smile broke across her face.

Senior Brother’s Divine Sense is truly powerful. He detected me from so far away.

Li Meng halted his flight, hovering in the air before her.

His gaze swept over her unreservedly.

She had consumed the Ageless Pill and successfully reached Foundation Establishment. The transformation was stunning. Her “Immortal Grace”—that ethereal quality of a cultivator—had skyrocketed.

Before, Chen Lan was a beauty. Now, she was breathtaking. Her skin glowed with a pearlescent luster, and her temperament was refined, shedding the last traces of mortal dust.

Chen Lan caught the heat in his eyes. A shy delight flashed through her.

She reached down, her slender fingers lifting the hem of her purple dress.

With a playful giggle, she spun a circle in the air, the fabric blooming like a flower around her. She stopped, facing him, her cheeks flushed, and blinked her long lashes.

“Senior Brother… is it beautiful?”

Li Meng smiled, his eyes crinkling with appreciation.

“Beautiful. Transcendent. Your Immortal Grace far surpasses the past.”

Chen Lan’s eyes curved into crescents of pure joy. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, her movements spilling over with feminine charm.

“Senior Brother,” she murmured, her voice soft and inviting. “I have a new cave abode. Do you… want to come over and take a look?”

Faced with such an invitation from such a beauty, how could Li Meng possibly refuse?
