Chapter 209: The Invincible Junior Sister

“Um… Junior Sister, how about you just admit defeat? If I accidentally injured you, the guilt would weigh too heavily on this Senior Brother’s heart!”

Qi Wei shot the Inner Disciple a scathing glare. Crossing her small arms over her chest, she looked as proud as a little hen.

“Hmph, such arrogance! To deal with the likes of you, I only need one move!”

Her childish, high-pitched voice echoed across the peak, drawing affectionate smiles from the spectators. If anyone else had said such a thing, it would have been perceived as unbearably arrogant and offensive. But coming from the petite Qi Wei, it was simply adorable.

Qi Wei thrust a tiny index finger toward the Inner Disciple. “Take this!”

The Inner Disciple’s face twisted in exaggerated horror. “What kind of profound Art is this? So powerful!”

With a dramatic gasp, the Inner Disciple slammed a palm into his own chest. He opened his mouth and sprayed a mist of blood into the air. His entire body launched backward as if struck by an invisible battering ram, flying over ten zhang before tumbling heavily to the ground.

Qi Wei blinked, her face going completely blank. What… what is this guy doing? Isn’t he being a bit too harsh on himself?

A wave of utter confusion swept through the watching Outer and Inner Disciples.

“What just happened?” “What did she do?” “I didn’t sense any fluctuation of Spiritual Power at all!” “Could it be… a secret soul attack?”

The inexplicable scene caused an uproar throughout the arena. Everyone stared at the two figures on the stage with absolute bewilderment.

The Inner Disciple staggered to his feet, his face deathly pale. Clutching his chest, he looked at Qi Wei with abject terror.

“Junior Sister’s techniques are peerless! This Senior Brother is in awe of your might. I admit defeat!”

With that, the Inner Disciple turned and limped out of the Martial Arena, his silhouette cutting a picture of utter desolation and unwillingness. A moment later, he rode the wind and fled from the peak.

He just left? He gave up his chance in the Inner Sect Grand Competition?

Shock and awe gripped the crowd. To force an Inner Disciple to forfeit so completely… what terrifying method had she used on him?

On the Martial Arena, Qi Wei smirked coldly. “Who is next? Bring on the next one!”

Her childish voice rang out again. But this time, absolutely no one dared to look down upon that tiny figure standing in the center of the arena.

“What exactly did you do to Senior Brother He?!”

A female Inner Disciple wearing a flowing purple rainbow dress descended into the Martial Arena on a gust of wind. Her immortal bearing was striking. She was curvy in all the right places, graceful and elegant. A flash of snowy white skin was faintly visible at her neckline, adding to her captivating charm.

The female Inner Disciple landed, her expression as cold as frost. She leveled her sword directly at Qi Wei.

“Senior Brother He is definitely not the type to flee from battle! You must have used some vile method to damage his state of mind. As fellow disciples, how could you be so cruel?”

The female disciple was clearly close to the previous combatant. The fury on her face was palpable, her eyes burning with a rage so intense it looked as though she wished to pierce Qi Wei’s body with a single thrust.

Qi Wei crossed her arms and sneered. “You want to avenge him? With just your meager strength?”

She extended her little finger and pointed it directly at the female Inner Disciple. “One move is all I need to finish you!”

The female Inner Disciple’s face suddenly contorted in agony. She opened her mouth and spat out a mouthful of blood.

Her legs gave out, and she slumped weakly to the ground. Her face was deathly pale, her gaze filled with horror. She looked up at Qi Wei with sheer disbelief. “You… how can you be so vicious!”

Looking at the female Inner Disciple—now deathly pale, pitiful, and shivering on the ground—the corner of Qi Wei’s mouth twitched. She glared coldly at the woman. “Hmph, hurry up and get lost!”

The female Inner Disciple wiped the blood from her lips, shooting Qi Wei a venomous glare. “This matter is not over!”

Leaving behind that harsh threat, she struggled to her feet using her sword as a crutch. She launched herself into the air, riding the wind away from the peak.

The surrounding female spectators watched the unfolding melodrama with utter bewilderment. Can anyone tell me what is going on?

Faces all around the arena were etched with pure confusion. Even Mu Jiu’er, standing by the Name List Stele, was completely baffled.

Was Junior Sister Qi’s finger really that terrifying? It had actually forced two ranked Inner Disciples to abandon the Grand Competition.

“Senior Brother, this is…”

Like everyone else, the women standing beside Li Meng were thoroughly confused. None of them could perceive what was happening.

A knowing smile touched the corner of Li Meng’s mouth. He answered them with a question of his own. “Why do Inner Disciples participate in the Inner Sect Grand Competition?”

To go to Kongming Hall? No. It was for the Dustfall Pill.

Dawning comprehension washed over the women’s faces, replaced swiftly by amused smiles. No wonder the reactions of those two disciples were so incredibly over-the-top.

“Masked Moon Peak, Qi Wei, wins two matches!” Senior Sister Mu’s voice echoed from the Name List Stele.

Qi Wei crossed her arms and nodded in deep satisfaction. Good, good. Just one more win and I can advance to the next round.

She swept her gaze over the Outer and Inner Disciples in the stands. “Who else…”

“Hmph! Let me see what cheap tricks you are playing!”

Before the childish voice could finish her taunt, a massive figure arrived on the wind, crashing down into the Martial Arena with a deafening Boom!

The man was exceptionally burly. Three Qi Weis stacked on top of each other wouldn’t even reach his height. He wore rugged brown martial attire. His exposed skin rippled with veins that looked like coiling green dragons. Just standing there, he exuded an immovable, mountain-like aura.

Seeing this sudden behemoth appear, Qi Wei shrank her neck. This guy looks terrifying! He doesn’t look like an Art cultivator.

If he wasn’t an Art cultivator, wouldn’t her “Art” be completely useless against him? Qi Wei cast a desperate, pleading look toward her Senior Brother in the stands.

At the cliff’s edge, Li Meng narrowed his eyes, analyzing the giant. A rare body cultivator. The man’s aura was profound, his protective energy deeply restrained. He was at the mountain peak realm of body cultivation.

In the arena, the burly man froze. He looked somewhat blankly toward the stands, his expression shifting repeatedly. His massive fists clenched, then loosened. Loosened, then clenched. He repeated the motion several times, clearly warring with himself.

“Hah!”

The Inner Disciple exhaled a heavy breath of turbid air. He cupped his giant hands and bowed to Qi Wei. “Junior Sister, please enlighten me!”

Qi Wei looked back at Li Meng. Li Meng smiled and gave a subtle nod.

Qi Wei’s eyes lit up. She secretly breathed a sigh of relief. Puffing out her small chest, she raised her head proudly, extending her little finger toward the towering giant.

“A mere body cultivator! Take my move!”

Her childish voice echoed across Martial Arts Peak. The entire crowd held their breath, staring intently at the little girl.

“Hmph! Boasting shamelessly!” the body cultivator bellowed fiercely.

He took a heavy step forward, stomping the stone floor. The very second his foot landed, a monstrous surge of protective energy erupted from his body. A fierce gale of Spiritual Power swept outward in all directions like a raging tempest.

“Pfft!”

Suddenly, the giant body cultivator opened his mouth and spat out a massive torrent of blood. His sturdy, mountain-like body toppled forward, crashing straight into the arena floor.

Lying in the dust, the body cultivator looked up at Qi Wei with abject horror. “You… what exactly did you do to me? Pfft!” He spat out another mouthful of blood for good measure.

Qi Wei stood with her arms crossed. Like a deity passing judgment, she looked down upon the fallen Senior Brother. “Now you know my power!”

The body cultivator struggled to his feet. His face was deathly pale, his aura completely chaotic, looking exactly like a man who had suffered a devastating, life-threatening blow.
